Our soldiers and veterans serve us with honor, and Joe Hune believes they deserve to be properly honored for their service. That's why Joe is working to make sure our military servicemen and women are not forgotten.
In the legislature, Joe supported a special effort to ensure that the absentee ballots cast by our troops deployed overseas are counted on Election Day. Joe also sponsored a resolution calling for all prisoners of war to receive the proper benefits.
Because we owe our veterans a debt of gratitude for their selfless service, Joe supports providing assistance, in a timely manner, to both our recently discharged veterans transitioning into civilian life as well as our older veterans in need.
And Joe will always fight to provide Michigan's veterans with the best health care they need and deserve while also providing them with the benefits that they were promised.
Joe will continue working to seek stronger protections for the men and women who risk everything in defense of their country and their fellow citizens.
